Before you do, be aware that if an abuser can access your computer, he can find out what websites you have visited and read your email. The safest thing to do is to use a friend's computer, a computer at work, or one at the library instead of your home computer.

DAWN: Domestic Abuse Women's Network DAWN provides a 24-hour crisis line (425-656-7867), information, support groups, legal advocates, children's programs, and a confidential shelter. Eastside Domestic Violence Program Services for victims of domestic violence in Washington. Support groups for women and children, safe homes, shelters, crisis line, education and training. The EDVP website also has many useful DV links.
Eastside Legal Assistance Program Agency administers the Domestic Violence Legal Fund (DVLF) which serves all of King County. Upon referral from a domestic violence agency, ELAP provides representation for those unable to hire a private attorney until temporary orders are in place.
